By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use it.

A description of software being built: the ATON blockchain, how it works, what is settled about it, and how the work is going. Every fact about the chain on this site comes from its specification, and where the two disagree, the specification is right.

Risk and disclaimers says plainly what could go wrong. Please read it before you rely on anything here.

The roadmap and the build status describe a plan, and plans change. What the specification has not settled is said to be unsettled, and we do not promise a date for anything.

Joining is free and asks only for an email address. We use it as the privacy notice describes, and you can leave at any time.

The chat on this site answers general questions. Our assistant answers first, and it is an AI: it can be wrong, so check anything that matters with a person, who takes over when you ask. Nothing said in the chat is advice, or an offer of anything.

Please do not share passwords, private keys or recovery phrases in the chat. We never ask for them.

• Do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the services behind it.
• Do not sign other people up to the waitlist.
• Do not pretend to be us, or use our name or marks to suggest you speak for us.

Looking for security flaws is welcome when it follows the security disclosure policy.

The Atheron and ATON names, the wordmark and the look of this site are ours. You may link to this site and quote it fairly, with credit. The trademark policy says how the names and logos may be used, and the brand page shows them as they should appear.

This site links to our accounts on Discord, Telegram, X and Bluesky, which are run by those companies under their own terms and policies.

The site is provided as it is. We take care to keep it accurate, and we correct what is wrong when we find it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

When these terms change, we publish a new version with its date. Earlier versions stay readable on this page, so you can see what applied when.

These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia, Canada and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes are heard by the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
