These terms are between you and Atheron Network Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.

02What this site is

A description of software being built: the ATON blockchain, how it works, what is settled about it, and how the work is going. Every fact about the chain on this site comes from its specification, and where the two disagree, the specification is right.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell anything, a request to buy anything, or financial, legal or tax advice. There is no presale, and we take no orders. Anybody offering ATON before launch is not us.

03Plans can change

The roadmap and the build status describe a plan, and plans change. What the specification has not settled is said to be unsettled, and we do not promise a date for anything.

04The waitlist

Joining is free and asks only for an email address. We use it as the privacy notice describes, and you can leave at any time.

05Using the site fairly

  • Do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the services behind it.
  • Do not sign other people up to the waitlist.
  • Do not pretend to be us, or use our name or marks to suggest you speak for us.

06Our name and marks

The Atheron and ATON names, the wordmark and the look of this site are ours. You may link to this site and quote it fairly, with credit. The brand page shows the marks as they should be used.

07Links to other sites

This site links to our accounts on Discord, Telegram, X and Bluesky, which are run by those companies under their own terms and policies.

08Liability

The site is provided as it is. We take care to keep it accurate, and we correct what is wrong when we find it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

09Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.

10Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia, Canada, and disputes are heard by the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
