If you read one thing

This site sets no cookies of its own, and has no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. Its performance and error monitoring sets no cookies either. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie, and the support chat keeps one random code so it can show you your own conversation. None of it follows you to other sites.

01What is stored

WhatSet byWhyHow long
A security cookie, such as __cf_bmCloudflareTo tell people from automated trafficShort-lived, about half an hour
One random code in the chat's own storageThe support chatTo show you your own conversation when you come backUntil you clear this site's data

That is all. This site sets no cookies of its own, and uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to accept or turn off.

We use cookie-free performance and error monitoring (Amazon CloudWatch) to keep the site fast and working. On about one visit in five, it records how long pages take to load, errors on the page, the page address (never the part after a ?), and your browser, device type and approximate country. It doesn't record who you are, and no cookies are set. It stores nothing in your browser.

02The support chat

The chat in the corner runs in its own frame. The code it keeps is random, says nothing about you on its own, and is used only by the chat on this site. If the chat is very busy, it may ask you to prove you are a person with a check from Cloudflare, which may store a short-lived item of its own to remember that you passed.

What the chat keeps about your conversation is in the privacy notice.

03Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser's settings. The site works without them. If you clear the chat's code, the chat starts again as new.
